    contab -e vps

    hi
    I would like to modify the contab -e vps id this server id 110


    How do I get the modify on the file and I am in the main server without entering on the server vps

    Are you trying to edit your server root crontab without logging into server?

    Login to the hardware node and try the vzctl command

    vzctl exec 110 crontab -e

    This will open the crontab for root of the VPS with veid 110.

    If you don't know vi try this

    vzctl enter 100
    export EDITOR=nano
    crontab -e

    Final solution is found a way to modify the file crontab-e
    Without going on the server VPS

    nano /vz/private/vpsip/var/spool/cron/root
