Since I'm going into hosting alongside web site development, I'm not familiar with credit card processing at the service level.

From what I've read revecom.com seems the best for recurring billing, etc. but I was wondering how revecom handles set-up fees?

Also, I don't want to do instant set-up, I would like to check for fraud. Since revecom is a non-merchant account any ideas how I would handle this not-so-instantaneous transaction?

    Thanks

    Yes...

Yeah... that's what I gathered... long story to why I questioned it.

Anyway, anyone have experience specifically with charging a one time set-up fee?

If Revecom offered charging in a primary currency other than US dollars, they'd be perfect. As it stands, I feel they're only suitable to businesses willing to base their billing systems primarily around the US dollar.

Anyone know if they have plans to change this, or whether their are similar providers who already offer a *choice* of primary currency, who are also comparable in price / features to Revecom?

Overall though, the services they offer are quite good as they stand - above gripe aside.

How many currencies do you offer?

We currently process in 180 different currencies. We can pay our merchants in 22 currencies.

Revecom do support multi currency. this is what you can found from their FAQ sections.

Besides offering recurring charges to, Revecom also allowed one time setup fees charges to credit card.

If you really interested in Revecom, why not take a free trial of the Test account before you sign-up from Revecom?

You will only be able to accept credit cards after you fax back the agreements and paid $49 to Revecom. Otherwise you only at test status.

Go ahead and take a look of the free trial.

Perhaps my post wasn't clear - Yes, Revecom do support multiple currencies, however the *primary* currency for listing your product range is the US dollar. All products are primarily listed at Revecom with a US dollar value assigned. Customers do have the option to convert to their local currency from the order form before purchase however.

Problem is - the exchange rate floats between the US and AUS dollar, meaning our AUS pricing rises and falls accordingly. This is not good for any host focusing on another market outside the US, like ourselves.

I've had this confirmed from Revecom themselves.
