Question uk virtual address/post office box

What is the best online company that gives anyone in the world a virtual uk address/post office box?, where you use their address and when you receive mail, they scan it and you can view it online from anywhere.

I have found 2 so far:

    www.londonpresence.com
    www.britishmonomarks.co.uk

Why don't use just get a PO Box at your local Post Office from the Royal Mail?

Cost! I haven't paid a single penny for mine so far and probably never will. It's PAYG and, in my circumstances, is spot on for what I need.

Having said that, there are certainly a great many circumstances when using the Royal Mail is the better option by far, a fact I willingly concede.

Any good recommendations for people in the UK to answer the phones for you, as well?

    I use www.messagemail.co.uk

I can recommend my virtual office service Messagemail for a telephone answering service and mailing service in London. They are really efficient at handling my mail and getting it out to me quickly. They send it out the same day they get it in which is a quick turn around. I know they can also do brochure send outs too (not something I have used myself). They also answer my calls too and I find the service really cheap for what they do for me. They are my registered office address as well.

Technical/sales or just someone to answer the phone and then route it internally once the initial hellos are done?

Hey guys I have a virtual address in US and I think it is very useful if u want to use it in business and personal purposes .To shop from the United States, I've been using a free package forwarding service from Viaddress dot com for a few months now, and I'm quite satisfied with them... I used them to shop on Amazon and Ebay websites and it works great!
The registration is free on viaddress dot com. They provide you with a personal US address that you can use to shop from any US merchant and have Viaddress forward your packages to your country.
If the US merchant does not accept international credit cards, Viaddress can buy the products for you, with no commission fees, and then forward the packages to you. You just pay for the shipping fees.

This reads sort of like an ad; is this your company or do you work there?

Hey guys, well some of you mentioned UK PostBox and I recently used their services to order some goods online and have it shipped to me abroad. Unfortunately the experience was sour and the customer service was poor.

Thanks God I did not order much stuff just 2 packages from Amazon UK. Well it goes that way, the Pay as u go stuff which is what I had.

You pay in total 5-6£ processing fee when they receive your parcel + 1.50£ processing fee+ postage cost to forward to your location or country. The item you initially purchase with for example with free shipping comes to a total of 15-20£ in shipping with UK PostBox.
I do not recommend using them for ordering goods online because each package they will receive you will be charged an automatic5-6£ processing fee. I leave you to do the math.

I was even told that I can't return an item through them if I don't want it. I will have to return it myself. I was like why I pay the processing fee then if I have to do it all myself?
I do not recommend at all this company at all. It's good for only receiving mails then there you got it for free.

After this sad experience and having to deal with an incompetent customer agent that was rude and mean, I decided to quit this company and manage to have my account cancelled.
I urge you to think twice before using them.

You are told nothing and explained nothing at sign up then they will charge your ass each time you get something into your box.

    Good luck to you all.

Sorry to hear about the bad experience above, sounds like a nightmare.

I personally use alldayPA (virtual office page). They also answer my calls when I can't. No complaints as yet. However they only have addresses in London, Manchester, Surrey or Cambridge, don't know if that's any good to you.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience also. I use a few different ones in the UK. You really need to go with a trusted company. Usually the ones that also offer meeting rooms etc are a good bet.

I use MWBEX and Regus when I need something on-demand. I use my solicitors office for anything business related, however.

The prices are clearly visible on their website :
    http://ukpostbox.com/business/pricing.html
    Mail items received 60p (72p)
    Pages scan 90p (£1.08)
    Forwarding per item + Postage 89p (£1.07)
Packages received (subject to maximum size and weight) Pay As You Go £5.95 (£7.14)
    Forwarding £1.50 (£1.80) + postage/shipping

When subscribing to any service, I always save the prices page in favs of the browser, and print a copy for future records

I had a dispute with a company a few years ago, when I signed up it clearly stated "No price change on your account once you have signed up" yet three years later I was advised of a price change, so terminated my contract without notice
