Hi,
I've been a reseller for a hosting company the last couple of months. Suddenly I started getting lots of hits on my web site. I've been getting 1 to 3 customers a day.
The hosting company that I buy from, they sell the hosting service to me for $50/yaer, I sell it to my clients for $75/year. This is a full featured hosting. It includes unlimited email accounts, Protected directories, SSH, Secure Server, MySQL Database, PGP, PGPMail, Archive Manager, 1 gig transfer a month, Search Engine, Redirect URL, Site Statistics, Mailing List, Site Creation Tool, MS Frontpage extensions, etc.
After reading good and bad reviews on Alabanza. I'm still concidering renting a server from Alabanza. Since my hosting company that I resell from, they buy it from Alabanza. I guess I'm more familliar with their features, that's why I want to go with Alabanza.
There are few things that aren't clear to me.
1. Are all of these features include it in the $800 per month Alabanza server.
2. Usually when my clients needs technical support, they send me an email, and I call my hosting company.
Will I get technical support free of charge from Alabanza?
If all of these options are include it in the $800 per month server. And if I sell 60 accounts a month for $75/year. That's a total of $4500 a month. Minus $800 = $3700.
I think I'm missing $1 per control panel, which I didn't understand. Than again, this is a good profit.
Thanks
Any help would be appriciated.

I will not put my URL, I'm not using this forum to advertise my company.
Nice try!

Thats an easy one. No.
The whole idea of being a hosting company is being able to support your clients, resellers get more support from their hosts on stuff like that then going with a dedicated server..

Just a side note... I read somewhere in here (can't find the thread at the moment) that Alabanza was in the process of restructuring pricing and service. Naturally, the best people to ask these questions of would be -- Alabanza.com.

Daniel, I *think* he was asking if *he* would get free tech support, not his clients, but I could be wrong. You know, some dedicated server companies don't offer much support. I believe Alabanza will give you support, though ask around- I've seen posts that seem to indicate they are slow (2 days sometimes), even with small requests sometimes.

Yes, Alabanza gives tech support, via a ticketing system.
And yes, it is slow..about 2 day turnaround time.

Zip,
Our experiences have shown that it my not be wise to rely on Alabanza support for everyday issues. I don't think that is what they intended their support to be for. I could be wrong though.
