Older actors are great, even if the plot is thin they carry the movie. And casting is very important, some actors just don't fit into certain roles.

Harrison Ford is great at playing cocky roles.

My favorite actress is Emma Watson because she may only play weird roles in movies

Really bro, kamal Hasan is worthy for Oscar. But his bad luck, he's not getting. Especially after his acting in Anbae Shivam. Excellent acting. Above that, the story of the movie is really touching.

It took decades for them to offer Oscar to Indians. In their vision India is just as shown in SBD(the worst movie Slum D M...). They might not accept the state where the India is. That's why SBD was chosen and not any other Real Indian Movie.

So forget that, we don't need to beg any one to recognize us

I may be biased because my favorite movie is Fight Club, but I'd have to say that Edward Norton is my favorite actor, along with Brad Pitt.

Actor: Anthony Hopkins. See him as Cap't Bligh in " The Bounty" and you will forget all about Hannibal Lecter.

Actress: Miranda Richardson. Underrated actress, played many a difficult role to perfection, see her in " Damage".

There are so many Actors/Actresses to choose from, just picking ONE is not quite fair to that Industry.

Never seen a bad movie with Nicholas Cage? How about Ghost Rider (along with its sequel), Next, Knowing, The Wicker Man, Trespass, etc ...? And that is quite a loooong list just for the last 5 - 6 years. Don't get me wrong, I am (at least was) a HUGE fan of Nicholas Cage (see post # 10 in this thread), but like Sean Penn said, he "is no longer an actor"!

It changes all the time, to be honest.
I'm more into who writes, produces or directs. Kevin Smith, for example, is brilliant.

Denzel certainly is good. But so is Cruise when it comes to fun movies, and I'd rather watch a fun movie regardless of who is in it, as long as the movie rocks... hence Gladiator and Russell Crowe also come to mind.
