From Tamranda site under Announcement:

We got a new Layout ! Do send us a FeedBack telling what you like in this one ..
Do suggest some alternate sites, so that they can lift design from them...in case<<snipped>><<snipped>>
why?

It does look very similar, it has the same tables etc. Looks like they didn't try very hard to disguise what they had done. Have you contacted them about it?

Actually, they even made the design look worse, by customising it a bit. It looks awful on my Opera 7.51.

The only thing they did better was replace the outdated "seasons greetings" with a scheduled downtime notice

I suggest that you contact them right away and ask them to remove it, other incidents like this happened and people like you got their design stolen but they forced the other party to chnage it.

Its a scam, have you tried to contact them ? I don't think there is much to do if they are not willing to take it down.
Maybe it's possible to go to court or to there host !

Check out this article in their forum -
What makes a GOOD hosting company?
Design - Design is one of the most important things with a webhosting company. Your website acts much like a car salesman - it is what is selling the product to the customer. Therefore, you should aim to make your website as appealing as possible, not too cluttered, and should also provide an easy sense of navigation.• WLVPN.com • NetProtect owned White Label VPN provider •

Ripping another host's design is stupid and unethical.
Ripping a design from a regular on WHT is incomprehesibly stupid.
Thank you Tamranda for showing your ethics and what people should expect if they do business with you.
But wait, maybe it was the "designers" fault. That seems to be a common excuse.

Maybe Tamranda bought a template. Best to ask.
Solid - why is there a "copyright Myacen.com" at the bottom of your template?

now as far as the design, sure it is ripped but it doesnt look that much the same.
also, ive seen that design in several places. it must be a template in which case, you get what ya pay for!
i dont know this tamranda person, are they here at wht?? if so, that is incredibly stupid.if you haven't considered chapter 7 bankruptcy, maybe you should.

As for the original design it was a template, but was only ever sold as a one off (at least it was when I saw the advert for it). So if you have seen it sold multiple times then it has either been ripped more than once, or the designer changed his mind.Steve

Tamranda was just posting in the Hosting Con forum a couple hours ago. Perhaps they'll pop in here and offer up an explanation. Obviously, it's not a case of "my designer did it," because they've attempted to modify the template after being caught (it's still a huge rip, only now it's an ugly one).
