Re: NetSol (Network Solutions)
You may be able to trust NetSol, but where did you get the idea of good support, it's all automated and if you had to ring them you would wait for a very very long time.
For Low-Cost Try:
http://www.totalnic.net - $17.50/year
I've had a postivie experience with TotalNic, prompt and easy registration. http://www.npsis.net - $15/year http://www.bulkregister.com - Depends...
No comments on the other two.
For DNS services try ultradns.net....

Ok, I'm really confused now. I thought that only network solutions registered domain names. Apparently things have changed... Now it seems like there is a whole slew of registrars but who really has the lowest price? and the best service? Who can you trust? Can someone please inform me a little.

When i call Network Solutions (4 times) The longest i had waited was 5 mins. I am of course no way related to them. But their staff are pretty friendly http://216.167.56.224/forum/ubb/smile.gif Thats my opinion.

I've registered over 20 domain names through npsis.com and have been very impressed with their level of service not to mention their prices. They provide the free parking and DNS servers as well as a free custom page to park all you domain names on if you are a broker like myself who purchases more than 10 domain names through them. You can't go wrong for $15/year for a domain name.
After talking with their Sales Manager (Nathan) I was able to gather the following information:
They are buying wholesale through OpenSRS/Tucows and then retailing them for a minimal profit margin of $5 per yearly registration. Apparently their whole business model is to register a large volume of domains and then a certain percentage of those customers actually sign up for their web hosting services. Of course this is not a requirement but many customers do actually sign up for web hosting since their services and packages are excellent as well. Anyhow I have been very happy with their service and would recommend anyone to them.
