    Access from 192.168.1.3

    Piwik (which I use on my site) is reporting that someone from 192.168.1.3 accessed my site - how is this possible? Shows referred from my signature and loaded 3 pages! Thanks mr localhost

    Maybe Piwik records an IP from the headers if FORWARDED_FOR or VIA is present, and that user's connection was going through a device which added the header, such as a proxy. Seen it on vB before.

    Does it happen about 6 to 8 hours ago? maybe it was me.
    A few hours ago I read your article about file hosting (minus.com, etc...)

    Some websites indicate that my IP address is 192.168.1.3
    it also happens when I access cpanel.

    it's possible that some ip coming over proxy or your website is internally schedualed running from hosting end.
