I have been using GoDaddy (https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosti...byos=1&ci=5749) VPS for several months now and it's been working out very well for me. They do not have 100% uptime guarantee, but their support is nice and responsive (it's best to call in usually).
What I liked about GoDaddy was that the prices were initially low and I could configure the server for only the things that I really needed. You can get a very base VPS as low as like $30/month I think.... mine is around $50/month.
It's a good option, check it out.

I also wanted to mention www.mediatemple.net.
Although I had to move away my shared hosting account from them because I was experiencing some random downtime after they switched to their new grid network, I'm pretty sure that their VPS is good and their support is definitely good. The price is also reasonable.

When requesting, its always best to give a budget.
The lowest possible price for the best VPS is quite vague, and unpratical.

I have been using vpslink.com for a couple of months, which isn't too bad, but they are cheap. The only problem I've had is a software program (which they won't fix as it is unmanaged) - some services won't automatically run on restart.

HSPc 384 is probably a plan you can opt for.

Leeware's VPS100 is one of the cheapest I've seen (that actually performs rather well).
RAM 384MB, HDD 20GB, 100Mbps Unmetered Shared. Runs Fedora Core 6 and comes with Webmin control panel.
I used leeware for a test setup a few months ago and they were rock solid.Damian | i n f i n i x | Are you a hosting refugee?

There is no bandwidth guarantee.
The acceptable use policy is 1000GB - 2000GB per month.
But considering how networking works, I guess its fair share.
So even if 100 people are trying to max their connection, each will get 1mbit.
And for that price (15USD), its still very very cheap.
Most providers charge 10-30USD or more per mbit per month for colocation.

Have a look
