We don't have any plans at this point to do a HostingCon in the UK or anywhere else outside the US. That may change, but at this point, we're sticking with one per year here in the US.

I think a London based hostingcon would be a fantastic idea - I'd get to write off a trip back to visit home...

Sounds like an alright idea for us Brits, but... If it's going to be in Europe shouldn't it be somewhere which is accessible for all?...Nah, London will do. Or hell go for London#2. Otherwise known as Birmingham.

I haven't heard, but someone may be planning something for Europe, but it would not be a "HostingCon" unless we produce it.
That being said, we have looked at doing a HostingCon in Europe but we do not have any plans yet at this point.

I think the last topic on this, had about 5 who wanted to com to such an event. Not a real great start I think.
Adam/iRacks suggested A'dam (what's in a name?), but it would also be a good moment to finally visit LondonSuperRacks Ltd European Hosting

Well i would love to go to HostingCon, but flying to USA just to see it would cost too much. If i had the money, i would deff go.
Hosting Con is the perfect excuse for a business expenses trip to Vegas!
Im actually currently in Australia so my flight to Vegas is going to cost £1200+ ... im still going for sure!Matt Wallis

why not use the XcEL Centre in Docklands London, FANTASTIC PLACE. Or Paris, us UK people could get there by Eurostar but again more cost.

The problem with these events is that they end up a bit a bit like the stag rutting season.

I've found that Internet World has really refocussed to Mobile Internet technologies over the last couple of years.
However, one thing it has taught me is that Rackspace really do have fanatical support
