    2Checkout Down/Very Slow?

Recurring sales for 2CO appear to be down. Well, not exactly down, but really really slow and timing out half the time with "page not found" errors.

Can anyone else verify? You'll have to click through a few times to check, it doesn't occur every time...

I've been having problems using them as an interim solution for credit card processing. Customers have been getting blank pages and 500 errors. It's kind of annoying because I need them only temporarily and I'm sure everything will be right as rain when I'm done

Oh, are you on www or www2 for your account?

Yikes! That sounds like the same problem I'm having. I just assumed it was a sporadic/temporary error, but it may have been going on for a while now.(first time I've clicked through my order form to check in a week or so)

I'm on the old www system by the way, not their new control system/panel.

It works for me now and their server are fast.

    Seems it was short-time problem?..

Somebody has same problems with 2CO in past?

    Apr 11, 2004: System Problems
We are experiencing intermittent service outages today with purchases due to a DDOS attack that began on Friday. The attacks appear to be part of an extortion plot. Four engineers are working on the problem in addition to our upstream providers. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working hard to minimize and eliminate it's effect. Thank you for your patience.
Hope they can resolve the issue soon..

I am feeling better and better about our decision NOT to go with them. A CC processor who can't keep their servers online is bad news!

It sounds to me like these guys are using lightweight technology and/or really inexperienced techs to run a multi-million dollar business. They get DDOSed every few months.

These things happen. There is NO excuse for not being able and ready to deal with it.

Well spoken. These are exactly the reasons why I consider any positive remark about 2CO either made from a fake account or by somebody who has only one order a month and JUST on that particular day, 2CO is working.

I haven't been able to get into 2co or login all day. I thought the reason I didn't have any sales over the weekend was due to the holiday but I guess now it was due to the fact that the customers couldn't PAY?!?!

What a joke. Up and down for three days and counting?! They need to be better prepared. I'm going to look around for another alternative. I can't have my order page not work for three days out of the month.

    This stinks.

It annoys me that when this happened a few months ago, they diverted the bandwidth allocated to their home page to help people buy. This hasn't happened this time so people can access 2Checkout.com while our order systems are DOSed.

I don't believe they are taking this as seriously as they should.
