There is no set limit but keep in mind that we do have limits on CPU since this is a shared environment. So you obviously could not host thousands of high traffic web sites and expect that to work.

We don't offer SSL certificates so you would need to purchase one from a third party such as GoDaddy. Dedicated IP's are $2/month - the "best" deal would be relative to your goals so I would recommend going to the order page and playing with different configurations & promotions to see what suits your needs .

What's the differences between Hawk Host and Frog Host? My friends and I are planning to host a forum and we're wondering which is better.

Hawk Host is cheaper offers limited space and bandwidth packages Frog Host is more expensive but offers unlimited space and bandwidth packages. Our Frog Host brand uses CloudLinux to do CPU limiting while Hawk Host does not at this point (we're still working on deployment issues on that brand).

So can't really say what is better depends on your circumstances. I'm sure either would be fine.

How many websites, on average, share one server for both Frog Host and Hawk Host?

We do not do things by number of accounts but by the load on the server. Some machines see less accounts some see more. Not our numbers but lets just take an example. One server has 10 accounts but a load of 10 another has 1000 accounts but a load of 1. The one with 1000 accounts on it would be better for someone.

So basically we rather try to maintain quality while making money rather than trying to meet some set in stone number of users number. It could be 250 one the next 500 then the next one after that 300 and the one after it 150.

If we get Frog Host, and say we want to transfer to Hawk Host someday, (or vice versa) would that be possible?

It is possible to switch between brands just like you would switch between other hosting providers.

There is no set limit - it would vary depending on the specs of the machine, what they're being utilized for and the history of resource utilization over the course of the past month.

The maximum is 25 which should be plenty for any site that belongs in a shared hosting environment.

No - if you exhaust the 25 concurrent connections it's likely you've outgrown a shared environment.
