Live video from the concert?
Our local band is giving a concert in two weeks
We want to bring live video to the internet.
What camera do we need?
All we have is cable connection at the place and one server in other state.
Is it possible to broadcast?
Thanks!How's my programming? Call 1-800-DEV-NULL

We did an Oasis concert once from Maple Leaf Gardnes in Toronto. The webcasting company had a 128K ISDN line, a backup ISDN, and a satellite truck (just in case).
I know JVC makes some cameras and boxes that will stream video directly. You might be able to rent them.
The JVC Streamcorder
Other than that, could some sort of webcam software handle it?Last edited by sightz; 06-16-2004 at 12:33 PM.
Current Project:
See behind the scenes photos from Movie, TV and Music Video shoots, taken by the filmcrews themselves! - CrewPix.com ...we do web hosting too.

i think it would be possible to live stream the information yes, but i do think speed and bandwidth is going to be a big issue with this.
