East/West Colocation
Hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you can give me some links to good (not just the cheapest) colocation centers in the East (NY, Atlanta, etc.) and West (California Area). I am thinking about a 1U box and about 1-10mbps of bandwidth depending on price.
Thanks,
Phate

I've compiled a list of colo+network providers I know of in the San Francisco Bay area.
www.equinix.com (San Jose)
www.sfcolocation.com (San Francisco)
www.abovenet.com (San Jose)
www.simpli.biz (San Jose)
www.Level3.com (San Francisco)
www.qwest.com (San Jose)
www.att.com (San Jose)
Next step down would be:
www.e200paul.com (San Francisco)
www.navisite.com (San Francisco)
Next step down would be:
www.he.net (Fremont CA)
www.***********.com (San Francisco)
www.coloserv.com (San Francisco)
Cable & Wireless/Exodus not mentioned as well as Verio because, lord almighty, who knows what's going on with those guys.

Thanks
Thanks for all that man, keep it coming. Also I would be looking for mostly high quality centers because I am looking to run gaming servers off a colocated box. Keep that in mind when ya post.
Thanks Again

Well, it's up to you to do your own research.
I would suggest going through them one by one to see which best suits your needs. Depending on your needs one may be better than the other.

Well in that case I would suggest SFcolocation.com in the 365 Main St facility.

It seems that he is not on site.
It maybe better for him to go into a Carrier's DC so he won't have to pay for as much support.
