Depends what you plan on doing. Desktops are good if u plan to use them for gaming and what not. If your on the go all the time, and doing business, laptops 100%... It just all depends on your route.

Mine lasted about 6 years before I had to go purchase a new one. Still works fine, just the speculations are out-of-date. I use it for side-work for my job, etc.
