They use auto support ticket system
when you send them email, the system will automatically is opening a ticket. :)
just like when i personaly send them email to support, ticket is automatically open -

Diffrent perspective:)
My perspective say that Pingdom act on my behalf, and there is no different if my employee send the provider support email or pingdom send them the email on my behalf.

They say that "this service" only include when you pay for proactive support.
I believe that "this service" should be offered free,
no point for asking us to send them email when we can set... -

This is what i told them
but no, they dont want to recive pingdom emails directly, they want us to open a ticket every time We recive pingdom alert...unless you pay another 80$/month

we have 24/7 support, but we must send email to support and ask for help.
the proactive support they offer m is ProActive = you dont have to open ticket if server is down, they already see it. -

that they only allow pingdom alerts for clients that have the full proactive management.
Shame :(

I agree
that 80$ for proactive isn't expensive, but we only want to be able to send the alerts, we don't need the all service.

They not doing it for free
We are paying for that specific cloud server.
But actually i would not mind paying some extra dollars for that, but 80$?
By the way, i never received False pingdom alert, at least at the past...
