Over three decades in IT, and over a decade hosting; but neither is, any longer, my full-time thing in life. My work, these days, is more in the human services and spiritual areas... though I'll never stop being a technogeek. It's just that nowdays I do techno work more for non-profits groups... and free for the particularly deserving ones. My hosting, these days, is mostly just to help-out such as they (though I still have many commercial customers).
