Maybe they are the companies which belong to the same person?
We get a fair share of people attempting to rip our site - we've yet to see a fully successful one as our mascot / tabled design make it mildly difficult. It's really fun when they're working on the rip and leave our live chat javascript in there.. you get to see them browsing their version and the referrer is "localhost" or the location of their site.
So what are you saying here?
Are you with gigabiteservers ? Or are you with slicehost?
A bit of clarification could go a long way.
So who is the ripper? And who is the victim of being ripped?
Cody, Your site is very well done. Who would not want to RIP IT?
@ CrazyPenguin, Are you not reading the thread?
- Giganet has this in their Source Code: http://www.screen-shot.net/ss/26708922349176775633.png
Giganet is ripping Slicehost Template, Or, The other way around :)
Sean
We've had a history of people ripping off our site, up to and including some of our resellers.
It's kind of flattering in a way.
Seeing as Slicehost is part of Rackspace, they couldn't have picked a much bigger fish to copy ;)
We aplogize for this. we hired a web master to make us a site and to keep it up to date. We have now fired him since many people have brought to our attention that the site is slicehost site. The owners of the company never really paid attention what was going on with the site we were all busy with the servers and clients. We will be taking down the site shortly and paying someone to build us a new one from scratch. Like i said before we aplogize for this and are in the process of handling this matter the fastest we possible can.
Assuming your post is sincere, I completely understand. You really do get what you pay for, we learned the hard way, twice!
In short, don't go cheap, go reliable and reputable. It costs a considerable amount more, but removes headaches.
Did you hire a company or privately contract an individual? If a company, who?
We hired a indivudual now we are looking for a good company if you guys know any please let me know.

They cost a bit, but they did our copy.
I redesigned the site personally based off a templatemonster template. Find it on there and ill give you a virtual high five!
As I designer, I hate people that rip sites. Theres one thing using a site for inspiration and ripping is another.
The same template helix is using as well :D
