CPU temp
Hi,
Does anyone know how you can figure out the cpu temp of a server? e.g. i have a xp 2000+ 1gb of ram server, i wanted to know what temp the cpu was running at in Cº
becuase in windows, you can download software, and it will tell you what temp your cpu is at right now, so i figure there must be something like that for linux!

It needs to be compiled into the kernel and then it'll be in the /proc filesystem - where depends on the monitoring chip. Do you know what chip is there, or what motherboard so you can find out?
Take a look at:

for a start.
