Just wondering is sales of service (i.e. selling web hosting to customers) is the only source of income for a web hosting company? Is there any other sources which a host can/should expand to, for greater turnover?

domain names, web-desing, script installation, ssl certificates, web programming. There are many things.

And of course there's always fraudulent credit card billing; that seems to have helped a few companies out. And when things get tough, you can just try not paying your bills.
