Ensim and Perl Modules
Hello,
My host is using Ensim for a control panel. I have requested that some perl modules be installed. And they do install them but they only work for the root account that installed them.
Well he suggested that I try and install them myself. So I went to the /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/.. where the host said to install them. Well anything outside of my /home/dbzgod is chmodded 444 by root. He said try and change property but can't.
So now im wondering does anybody know how to install Perl modules system wide on an Ensim system?
Thanks!! dbzgod

/home/virtual/yourdomain.com/usr/lib/perl....
Sounds like your host is really helpful. Glad you're getting what you paid for. :D

So I would tell them to install the modules into /home/virtaul/yourodmain.com/usr/lib/perl...?
For what I payed I don't really think I would be getting much spport and definately not as fast as they have been over the past few days.
Thanks,
Neo

Yep, find the appropriate directory under your /home/virtual/domainname/usr/lib/perl heirarchy, and install there.
I'd get more specific, you're paying someone else for support. If you were paying us, we'd be installing the modules for you a few minutes after you ask. :D
Ah, the relative value of hosting. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free on WHT. ;)
