theplanet/ev1servers nightmare
is it just me or since the new company was merged and new management brought in the company has failed to live up to there pathetic support before. Support is non exisitant. I dont understand how people pay the prices there and get 0 back in return, this is how companys like liquidweb are growing . I have servers at 10 centers and id say theplanet is the worst, this rant deserves proof of our fiasco today with a windows server. They are very expensive for what you get, biggest isnt best and i bet this quarter they { investment team } will see numbers pulling back from previous times, new dogs are coming to market with better structure and pricing, iam pulling my 12 machines this month and next from them as its getting worse, interacting with some of there support staff is like trying to get a 3 year old to understand math. its impossible, Orbit was changed and looks like it was changed back, thank god, anyways best of luck to anyone at the planet and there customer base,

Just yesterday one of my servers died... call it "compromised"
however the alert they got was sitting until today with the dumb question
It appears as though your system is having some very serious issues at this time. What changes have recently been made on this server?
And that's the status I got after 18 hours!

After sending outage tickets AND calling them they finally looked at the server and told me the only thing to do is an OS reload
WEll - now I'm sitting here, copying 40+ accounts to a NAS and looking for a host to move to...
