Qmail deferrals - lots of them!
Hi
I'm suddenly starting to get loads of these deferral messages in the maillog. If I send a mailshot of around 5000 emails, the first 100 or so send fine, then it starts showin these deferrals. What seems strange through, is it's not the external server which is deferring (as I've experienced this with Yahoo, etc) - but it seems to be my machine causing the problem (Connection reset by [127.0.0.1])
I sent some emails at midnight last night and they only got delivered at 5am this morning! They would normally arrive immediately.
This is from a FREEBSD 6.0 box using Plesk 8.0. Nothing has changed, except FreeBSD was upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1-RELEASE p10. - could this have caused any problems, or do you think something is up with QMAIL?
Ben
