If you are on a cpanel server, you can enable suexec through the root WHM.
To compile apache/php, login to the server as root and run /scripts/easyapache
Select option 6 ...
You will be able to enable phpsuexec support here, and then select all the modules you need under the 'php modules' section. You can check php 5x along with the php modules..
I didn't say I was on cpanel. I simply asked how to compile via command line.
Why do people assume everyone is on cpanel? That panel is disgraceful
You mentioned phpsuexec support which is generally a cpanel thing, they took over the phpsuexec patch project and use it in their panel with their own fixes. i would say you should go suphp, however there is no single command for that.
cPanel has the inbuilt script /scripts/easyapache that you can use from command line .
Just compile apache:
./configure
make
make install
Now compile gd2, freetype, curl/curlssl
To compile php with suphp curl, gd2... take a look at
http://www.directadmin.com/forum/sho...ighlight=suphp
I guess it will help a lot!
Regards,
What a comedian. How many times did we say I am not using cpanel?Quote:
