Yay. Lol. Go for it.
When I ran a fairly large network, my users really loved to be able to login once; especially since people who liked one site would probably like the other =)
If its entertainment oriented or something non-critcal, then go for it.
Although linking accounts makes it easier for the site visitors. It increases the security risks.
These sites are non-critical, so any security risks would be negligible.
Also, do you think one large forum would work best (each site linking to a sub-forum) or should I stick to relatively separate forums for each site?
I'd go with a large forum, to promote unity between all of the communities.
