I just heard a 'top of the hour' newscast earlier where they were warning about the increase in "phishing," fraud, credit card and personal information theft, etc... And Citibank was referenced by name! Almost like Citibank had requested the piece as a Public Service Announcement...

They don't have to. The citibank schemes are just numerous at this point. I doubt the phishers are using their name to give them PR.

The piece I heard was saying that there has been a significant increase in these types of activities lately. And went on to reference Citibank in particular...
