Exim and Cpu load
Hi,
i have a problem wtih a box that is running this version of Cpanel:
WHM 9.2.0 cPanel 9.3.0-R5
RedHat 9 - WHM X v3.1.0
the load is always around 10-30 but we can open site and surf it but are slow, the top process report:
9739 mailnull 5 0 1840 1684 1600 S 99.9 0.1 0:05 0 exim
and WHM TOP in red:
root 92.80 8.07 1.9
Top Process %CPU 99.9 /usr/sbin/exim -Mc 1BOXXC-0001ye-Qz
i have run:
updatenow
upcp
exim4
fixmailman
but i am still in the same situation, the server seem to run also a bit slow from last night when the datacenter have replace the main board for a controller failure, it's a 3.06Ht with 1 Gb ram
i have found also this error in dsmesg
ACPI: Subsystem revision 20040326
ACPI-1133: *** Error: Method execution failed [\GPRW] (Node f7e29480), AE_NOT_EXIST
ACPI-1133: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.P0P4._PRW] (Node f7e29c00), AE_NOT_EXIST
ACPI-0154: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.P0P4._PRW] (Node f7e29c00), AE_NOT_EXIST
what other can i check?

It would appear you probably have a spammer :)
One thing you may want to check is in WHM, there's a report on your Mail Statistics, find out which account is sending out the most mail (and how much mail it sent out)

How long does it stay at 99.9%?
What's the next highest sender?
Also you can browse your mail queue. Any spammer is bound to have lots of bounces.
