Search is your friend. There are many hosts better than Hostrocket over here IMHO.
Try hanging around their forum a couple of days and check out how they work with their customers

I would recomend hostrocket.com and their still currently offering the giga sale !!!
can someone recomend a company with a similar plan and 24 hr phone support?
I would recomend Hostrocket if we were talking about this about 3 years ago. Personally I feel they have grown to fast to keep up with their clients.
Just my opinion.
-ReyoX-, I'm assuming you have a site with them?Quote:

I just didn't pay it told them I wouldn't and I can still login and everything. I even explained to them the whole situation but they didn't care.
Please send me an e-mail at timothy@hostrocket.com and let me know who you spoke with that "didn't care" and didn't resolve your problem and provide some more information about the problem. I'll personally work with you to ensure this is resolved quickly.Quote:

HostRocket policy requires that we validate the customer's identity when we process cancellation requests to make sure it is actually the customer submitting the request.
If this wasn't resolved, it was likely a miscommunication or something similar. If in fact you didn't receive adequate service from one of our technicians, we will deal with that after it has been investigated.
Either way, I will be happy to look further into it and make sure things are resolved.
I would really like to know where you obtained your information. As I have said before, I really don't see how individuals with no first hand knowledge regarding our company's clientlist, financial standing, customer retention levels, average support response times or any other factor needed to make that determination could factually have such an assumption.Quote:

HostRocket is doing extremely well in all areas I referenced, and our phonemonal growth is right on target. For specific information regarding this, contact me personally.
I have e-mailed you Timothy
Timothy where are you I sent you an e-mail a few hours ago :-(
I have mixed feelings about Hostrocket (based on what I've read about them). But then again, that's just me. :)
I do NOT recommend HostRocket. I was with them for all of two months, and I had so much down time, it was ridiculous. I always got canned responses from them, and they aren't exactly the best at responding in a timely manner.
I think that the only way they can offer customers so much is by cramming TOO MANY people onto one server.
I switched to FluidHosting, and they are the absolute BEST! Hardly ANY downtime. I've been with them for a year now, and have NEVER had problems with downtime, other than than the the scheduled ones, when they're updating something. They're also great about support. I can email these people at 3am, and they get back to me FAST, not 12 hours later (or NEVER), like HostRocket.
Check them out. www.fluidhosting.com
I used Hostrocket a few years ago, I didn't stay very long. ;)
I was with them for 8 hours, and 8 hours to long.
I was looking for a new host because our current one would go down all the time.
Hostrocket=hidden fee's
My plan was supposed to equal $110 they billed for $197
Among other things.
Look around.
well it has been well over 12 hours and timothy hasn't e-mailed me back even to say he got my e-mail. Looks like he "doesn't care" either.
Oh well looks like my opinion still stands.
