Anyone here got the PS Vita?

am thinking of getting the first edition bundle:

Last I heard, it doesn't come with the required and rather expensive memory card.

Not something I'll be getting, personally.

There's already reports that Japanese developers are giving up on it, but I don't know how truthful they are. Sony says they're "exaggerated", which isn't exactly a stark rebuttal.

I thought about getting one - but I got a PSP release day and didn't play it near enough to warrant the money I spent on it. Sony's treatment of early adopters (RE the phasing out of UMD, issues with functionality on firmware updates, etc) doesn't exactly make me want to jump on a Sony portable again. :(

did not test it yet but saw it in the ads and first thought was it'S the old PSP ....

In general I don't think there is not a market for PSP developements as smartphones offer also plenty of gaming options

It dont interest me and I dont see why i would wanna get one. things like this will become less and less used as phones get more powerful. They will do same things eventually.

Well I got the PSP when it first came out and if it wasn't for GTA it wouldn't have lasted more than a year for me haha. But I think I'll pull an extra design project to get the money for it, since it looks awesome. But knowing sony it'll be canned within 2 years of it being made and go the way of the PSP (1).
