IPPBX solution ?
Which IPPBX solution is good and there have GUI ? (Windows is fine)
I am using Asterisk but that is always have problem so I need to study a lot of programming. |
Use something call PBXinaFlash or Freepbx. But not Trixbox.
PBXinaFlash is a straigh easy ISO install where Freepbx you have to install the operating system manually and lock everything down. Where as PBXinaFlash includes Freepbx and its a easy ISO download, burn it to a DVD and off you go. The reason why i say stay away from Trixbox is that it has a lot of open security issues that are not at all well documented.... if at all! I think PBX in a Flash will more than meet your requirements... we use it to link our international offices etc and it works fantasic!!! In regards to windows... yes you do have something call citrix, but from my understanding you have to pay for it (i think there is a free lite version), but with windows you seem to have to restart things and again you have licensing costs. Just my 2 thoughts. |
For windows a great option is 3cx from 3cx.com.

I have spoken to a few people who have used it and they have praised it. However it can be costly. |
Elastix is very popular. Trixbox is ok but people are moving away from it. There are still lots of people that prefer trixbox. AsteriskNOW is Digium's current release but it is basically just FreePBX. PBXinaFlash is also another popular solutions. We like Elastix but PBXinaFlash is nice to!

Check out switchvox :)

For Windows try minisipServer
|
Take a look at Cisco Call Manager Express on the UC320. It has a very easy to use interface and is quite inexpensive.

My company uses Elastix and it works fine.

I'm about ready to roll out 3CX on about 140 handsets, across four sites. Our cost is about $4400 for the software with up to 64 simultaneous calls, four ATA's for paging and cordless phones; since we have them already... Plus local/state tax. Our phone bill is about $6-7k/mo and will go down to about $1-1.5k/mo, so the software is CHEAP. I've been testing for over a month with iCall as the SIP trunk provider. |
Old thread that was bumped, but my vote is for PBX in a Flash. It's easy to install and most importantly security is their main focus along with the ability apply updates/fixes which is something I don't see in the other distro's.

Stared using snomeONE and very very happy with it, and so are the clients that I rolled it out to. A couple are wanting to switch from 3CX to snomONE since they heard how much more stable it is |

I still think Elastix and PBXinaflash are going to be the most affordable solutions as they are FREE. You just have to buy your hardware. Plus there is a huge following for both! All the support online you could need free as well if you know how to tap into it..
