Any Online Backup providers using these forums, if so drop your website links.
Has there been much of an uptake from webhosts on this as a Value Added Service ?

That would be self-promotion and not allowed

Its not seen as that much of a critical service to the resellers and one-server type hosts, but is generally taken up by those serious about their business, or who've suffered a major ldata-loss/outage previously
Hey thanks for the reply
Much activity here then from backup providers? I am not seeing many.

There are a few active ones on here. We use GNAX's backup product (http://www.gnax.net/backup/index.php) to ship our data offsite.
The Planet and Softlayer also have a pretty decent setup, if you're boxes are on their network.
Sirius
There many providers with their own infrastructure here. Just out of my head:
- The Planet
- Cartika
- LiquidWeb
- Gigenet
- Softlayer
- Fusionxhost
- BQBackup
- Rsync.net
- Gnax
- JaguarPC
etc.
And there are lots more that resell the above :)
Great links, thanks for the help ;)
Sorry to be a contrarian to relying on your host for backups, but one of the points of my backups is that if my host vaporizes or vanishes, I have other backups somewhere else. (A backup at your host does make it convenient for the unforeseen occasional boo boo, though.)
In fact I have 3 backups. One local on my server, another at Rsyncpalace (http://www.rsyncpalace.com) and another at an alternate VPS.
There are other backup providers, they seem to advertise on the "Other Hosting Offers (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=132)" section.

- Gigenet

I think so...
RsyncPalace are awesome :)
