All you need to do is add the WAP mime types, WML pages are just plain text files.
However your server will already most likely support WML pages.
So do you mean to say that Apache can serv WML pages i just need to set up WAP mime type ???
can any one throw more light on it ??
Hi Hashoo
To WAP enable your site you will need to make a folder called "wml" in your root of the html accessable directory. Then create a .htaccess file with the following inside and place it into the wml folder.
----------------------------------------
DirectoryIndex index.wml
addtype text/vnd.wap.wml wml
addtype application/vnd.wap.wmlc wmlc
addtype text/vnd.wap.wmlscript wmls
addtype application/vnd.wap.wmlscriptc wmlsc
addtype image/vnd.wap.wbmp wbmp
----------------------------------------
You will now be able to utilize wml features on your server. Each file will be filename.wml where filename will be the name of the individual page. You will be able to access the wap website as http://www.domainname.com/wml
Enjoy
But werent the site for wap having WAP:// as their protocol type ?Quote:

There is no such protocol as WAP:// it is all HTTP://
WML is an XML based language therefore it is served under http.
