Hello Web Hosting Talk Members!

The weather around my corner of the world is heating up, and so are the discussions on Web Hosting Talk!

Email continues to be a taxing commodity for hosts, and a needed asset for clients. You'll notice that in one of the discussions we're spotlighting below is an in-depth discussion on the pressure customers place on providers to provide efficient, spam-free email solutions. One way to do this is to encourage the host's clients to make primary use of a free email service. There are several free services that specialize in email.

While hosts have been providing email solutions, it does come at an expense to the consumer. Email uses many server resources that most customers would rather have going towards actually hosting their sites. I'm sure any hosting provider will tell you that their lives would be easier (spending less time and resources on support) if they didn't offer email to their clients. The practicality of it all? Well, that's to be decided.

Speaking of email, I hope you find this one useful.

See you on the forums!
