Hello fellow WHT-ers!

HostingCon 2008 is over, yet the memories will last forever. (Or until they're nudged over a bit by HostingCon 2009.) :)

Once again it was a great year of meeting members. Thank goodness those attending picked up badges with their WHT user name on them. Some of you look nothing like how I pictured.

From our perspective, the WHT booth was a great success. Lois (writespeak), Paul (the_pm), Chris (CArmstrong), and I were hangin' in the WHT Lounge, serving up chocolates. We shook hands. We hugged. We laughed. We talked about WHT, HostingCon, our families, and plans for the future. We ate. We drank. We danced in the aisles.

HostingCon, for me, is meeting WHT members. I love the face-to-face interaction and being able to bounce around ideas in real time. Not to toot the team's horn, but I couldn't help noticing all the positive feedback about how well WHT is moderated. I'm sure I owe all our moderators a beer or something because (save for feedback from one currently banned member) I only heard good things about them.

If you missed HostingCon 2008, I missed you. If you were there, it was great meeting you. Either way, clear your calendar for HostingCon 2009: August 10 - 12, 2009! If not before, I'll see you then.

In the meantime ...

See you on the forums!
