Hello fellow WHTers!Customer Service is the road to Customer Satisfaction. It's often said that service is the life blood of any organization. Everything flows from it and is nourished by it. You'll remember that last week we talked about ways to help your service provider help you. They want to satisfy you, because you satisfy them. As service providers, our customers are more than customers. We connect on a much higher level than the department store that sells a customer a toaster. Customers are dependent upon us for quality service. And we're dependent upon them to let us know what service they need, how they need it delivered, and what they need it for. Loyal customers are commonplace in the service industry. When we find a good provider, we don't search for a better one. Finding that special provider who fills our needs is a great feeling. And we don't take lightly to letting go of it. Providers are nourished by the customers they keep. While some providers are passionate about keeping their happy customers happy, others are more complacent, thinking that if they offer a good service they offer good customer service. Customer service is much more than good service. Customer service is the road to customer satisfaction. Because customer satisfaction means that customer service has reached its goal. Our first featured thread touches on how some providers view their customers, and how some providers feel a closeness. Because if you're not passionate about your customers, the road to customer satisfaction is fraught with potholes. See you on the forums! |
