Hello Fellow
WHTers!
Keeping up with web hosting trends
HostingCon 2009 was a smashing success. For me it started with flight delays, then moved on to a scenic view of the runway from the seat of a plane for over 4 hours, and ended with a flat tire in the airport parking lot when we finally got back home. But everything in between was great! Thanks to all you members that stopped by the WHT booth. It's always great to be able to put a face to the user names.
I love attending these events. It's a chance to get together with old friends and make some new ones. We get to look at where the industry was and get a peek into where it's going. Technology evolves, priorities shift, consumers get economy influenced, new ideas turn into new trends - a lot happens in the year between HostingCons. In this fast paced industry we need to take advantage of every tool available. And HostingCon is a great tool to keep a pulse on the ebb and flow of this industry.
Our first featured thread takes a look at the pulse by examining if colocation is on the rise.

Thanks for listening. And I'll see you on the forums.
