The Web Hosting Wiki leverages the size and expertise of its community with a vision of creating the largest, most comprehensive guide to the technologies and the companies behind the hosted services industry, says the company.

Troy Augustine, the CEO of iNET Interactive and publisher of Web Hosting Talk says the WHTwiki addresses the need for a resource to help educate consumers and businesses as they research and select hosted services. The company hopes WHTwiki is not only a technology guide but also serves to document the background of the service providers and the history of the industry.

WHTwiki articles are licensed under the Creative Commons License, which enables WHTwiki content to be reused by the community that collaborated to create it.

INET Interactive recently partnered with the Web Host Industry Review to distribute the WHIR's daily Web hosting news to users of Web Hosting Talk.
