June 7, 2007 -- The Web Host Industry Review (www.thewhir.com), the publication of record for the Web hosting industry, and HostingCon (www.hostingcon.com) the industry's largest trade event, announced that theWHIR will be sponsoring a business networking lounge at this year's HostingCon, which will take place from July 23 to 25, at Chicago's Navy Pier.Located in the Exhibit hall, the 30-foot by 70-foot space will provide attendees with a comfortable environment for networking during the exhibition part of the show. By providing an informal space for meeting, the Networking Lounge Sponsored by theWHIR is helping to fulfill one of the informal objectives of attending such a show -- the making of connections and forming of businesses relationships with other attendees.

"We're very excited to be sponsoring the Networking Lounge at this year's HostingCon event," says Stephen Mayhew, publisher at the Web Host Industry Review. "We feel that through our network of Web sites and our print magazine we provide Web hosting providers with a useful and specific tool that can help their businesses, something that isn't inherently communicated by a booth at a trade show. The Networking Lounge itself is a useful business tool, and we feel that sponsoring it is a very exciting way to represent theWHIR at the show."

The lounge will be open during exhibit floor hours, from 10:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 and from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 25. Refreshments will be available, and WHIR staff will be on hand to interact with conference attendees.
