Welcome to the New Web Hosting Talk

Welcome to the new and improved Web Hosting Talk! We’ve been listening to your feedback and suggestions, and we are pleased to introduce a new design and new features that take WHT to the next level. Allow me to take you on a virtual tour.

The first thing that you will notice is a fresh design. The look is cleaner, and the navigation is more intuitive. We expect it to make WHT a bit more inviting and a little less intimidating for first-time visitors. We’ve replaced the old iNET Interactive menu bar at the top of each page with a plain text promo bar to make important announcements or alert you of breaking news.

You will note a few new items in the navigation bar. The first is “News“. We’re compiling the best, most relevant industry news and we’re putting it in one spot for your convenience. In conjunction with the release of new WHT, we are pleased to announce a partnership with Web Host Industry Review as our primary daily news provider. In addition to daily news, you’ll find features from Hosting Tech, the WHIR and others. We hope that it helps WHT become your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about the web hosting industry.

But it’s more than one stop shopping. We’re giving members to ability to discuss the important news stories of the day, and we’re provided tools to easily share stories beyond the four walls of WHT. This is the largest, most visited community serving the hosting industry. Let’s get the word out!

You will notice WHT “Store” in the navigation bar. You’ll find all of the latest Web Hosting Talk logo gear so that you can explain your WHT addiction to friends and family.

You’ll also notice that we’ve enabled RSS feeds throughout. You can now subscribe to RSS feeds of recent posts and recent news items. You can restrict RSS feeds to specific forums. Heck, you can even receive RSS feeds of you own posts if you want to integrate them into your personal or corporate blog.

We hope that you enjoy the new and improved Web Hosting Talk. As always, we appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Sincerely,

Troy A. Augustine
