With the SSL certifies clients can now more securely manage their hosting accounts without worrying about the privacy of transmitted data or if they are connecting to the wrong server. SSL certificates also carry insurance to cover against certain losses.

The SSL certificates will provide greater security in managing hosting accounts through cPanel/WHM and FTP (Secure FTP). Additionally, clients can now use encrypted connections to download and send email through SSL-protected POP3 (Post Office Protocol), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocal), and IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).
