Web Hosting Capabilities Upgraded by Goldleaf, with Enhanced Functionality

Brentwood, Tennessee – (The Hosting News) – February 22, 2008 – Financial institution web hosting and design technology solutions firm, Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc., has improved the functionality of its web site hosting solution, with several new key features, and expanded capabilities.

A key driver to Goldleaf’s enhancements was the development of an automated system that can archive changes to both Web site content and images that can be tracked throughout the life cycle of a bank’s relationship. With heightened scrutiny by examiners regarding Regulation DD in the Truth in Savings Act, Goldleaf wanted to provide its customers with a record retention system, which could maintain changes made to the viewable section of their web sites for two years. The Goldleaf system archives changes, enabling the financial institution to do screen captures to note any changes, as well as documenting who made changes. It is then automatically pasted into a file folder and archived for easy retrieval.

Bruce Krajewski, EVP of sales, Goldleaf Financial Solutions noted, ”Today’s regulatory environment is incredibly complex, and financial institutions are spending an inordinate amount of time trying to find a balance between managing compliance and daily operations. More of our customers were facing Reg DD scrutiny, and as a result, we wanted to provide a solution that would save time, improve efficiencies and enable them to focus on their core business serving their customers.”

Other enhancements to the web site include a workflow module that allows institutions to define levels of access and approval chains. Multi-tiered authority allows for better site management to preserve the integrity of the data while ensuring consistency and uniformity throughout their Web site. The new functionality also has the added convenience of letting institutions edit content internally, maximizing the speed and accuracy at which their online information can be updated and maintained. For those banks that do not have a dedicated individual in-house who can make changes to the site, customers still have the option of contacting Goldleaf to request any updates or changes. Additionally, the site gives institutions the ability to pre-create site changes that can be implemented on a specific date and time. This is a particular benefit to institutions when rolling out marketing or incentive promotions, as there is no last minute rush to enter information before going live.

Lynn Boggs, CEO of Goldleaf noted, ”A financial institution’s Web site is a reflection of its identity. A dynamic Internet presence is a necessity – not a luxury, and institutions today need to cater to the increasing online demands of their customers while remaining compliant. Being able to manage content efficiently is critical, as users need current and accurate information at all times. The enhancements to the solution and increased functionality offer a competitive advantage to Goldleaf’s customers, and we are excited to provide another value-added service to benefit both financial institutions and their customers.”
