Web Host Nexx Cuts Domain Prices

November 27, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Canadian Web hosting provider Nexx Online (nexx.com) announced on Tuesday that it has cut the price of its .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domain names to $7.95 per year.

Nexx says that the lower price domain names include attractive features designed to give domain owners exceptional value. Some of the add-ons include a basic Web page with 25MB diskspace, an email account including a calendar, address book and spam filtering, domain WHOIS privacy to keep personal information secure from identity theft and spam attacks as well as full DNS management with a user-friendly Nexx control panel.

"ICANN and Verisign administration fees have spiked and as a result, registrars have been pushing their costs on to consumers by raising domain prices," says Jason Matheson, product manager at Nexx. "We, on the other hand, have cut our price to $7.95 per year, even at renewal."

Nexx recently began offering a new hosting plan designed to give SMBs greater reliability, security and uptime.
