Verio Enhances Control Panel

January 18, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting provider Verio (verio.com) announced on Thursday that it has enhanced its control panel to help customers gain greater flexibility, more customization and increased functionality.

Verio says that the redesigned interface is simplified and fast, especially when loading large amounts of data. Through the new Verio control panel, customers can set filters to enable or deny specific text in the subject line and also allocate rules for mails with specific words to automatically drop into specific folders. This increases efficiency by alerting users to important mail based on key words and folder sorting as well as reduces the risk of email security threats by efficiently dealing with spam and virus-loaded emails.

The control panel is organized into seven main sections including mail, users, utilities and files, statistics, preferences and settings, add-ons and databases. Graphical icons help improve ease-of-use as compared to complicated drop down text menus and customers can now customize the layout of their control panel by simply dragging and dropping entire sections, says the company.

"Verio has been at the forefront of addressing areas of need identified by businesses operating online," says Dennis Boyle, Verio COO. "We have worked with our customers to deliver a solution that will enhance their experience, streamline the management process and make it easier for them to get the information they need."

Verio also recently began offering Internet Protocol version 6 connectivity for customers and solution provider partners using Verio's virtual private server and managed private server Web hosting solutions.
