R1Soft Sponsors Webhosting Day

February 15, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data recovery solutions provider R1Soft (r1soft.com) announced on Friday that it will be a gold level partner for Europe's largest Web hosting conference, Webhosting Day 2008 (webhostingday.com). The event is scheduled to run from March 12 to 13 at the Phantasialand Event Center in Bruehl, Germany.

R1Soft says it will have a booth set up in the exhibit hall where it will promote the importance of its data protection software and offer promotional giveaways to conference attendees.

The company's founder and VP, Dave Wartell, will also be leading a workshop entitled "Introduction to Continuous Data Protection and the Future of the Data Center," where he will discuss the challenges posed by rapid data growth and the decreasing tolerance for data loss. Wartell will show hosting service providers how they can add a profitable new cash stream by providing their customers with an automated data protection platform. Wartell will also announce R1Soft's new data center automation technology for Linux servers, Lights Out Data Center for Linux.

"With more than a third of our existing customers located in Europe, this event provides an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with users and resellers of our software," says Wartell. Last week, R1Soft launched its channel partner program, empowering channel providers and resellers to more effectively market and distribute the company's data protection solutions.
