Peak 10 Houses Flash Foods

February 8, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Friday that it will provide information technology services for food outlet provider, Flash Foods (flashfoods.com), from its recently opened second Jacksonville, Florida data center.

Peak 10 will provide Flash Foods with managed IT and data center services from its Jacksonville data center. With 176 convenience stores and 20 branded food outlets, Waycross, Georgia-based Flash Foods has grown significantly, along with its IT needs, says Ken Wade, Flash Foods director of retail automation.

The data center operator's new facility, built next to the first one in Jacksonville, opened last November. The facility added 10,000 square feet of raised floor space to its previous 8,600 square feet of usable space.

When the second data center opened, VP and Peak 10 Jacksonville GM Allen Skipper estimated it would take two years to fill the space. An adjacent 5,000 square feet is available for rapid expansion when the second center approaches capacity. Peak 10's customers include The Gator Bowl Association, Jacksonville Jaguars, Firehouse Subs, Vurv Technology and Sea Star Line.

Peak 10 announced last week it helped deliver college football and basketball resource Rivals.com's coverage of National Signing Day.
