Network Platform Enhanced, with Juniper Ethernet Infrastructure, by nLayer

Sunnyvale, California – (The Hosting News) – March 12, 2008 – High-performance networking firm, Juniper Networks, Inc.’s MX960 Ethernet Services Router (ESR), has been deployed by Internet connectivity and wholesale bandwidth solutions firm, nLayer Communications, for key facilities across its global IP network.

The MX960s will support a range of high-capacity wholesale IP transit and MPLS transport services, supporting nLayer’s media streaming and content delivery customers.

Compared to competitive platforms, the MX-series enables customers to increase the energy efficiency of their networks by reducing power, space and cooling costs by up to 60 percent.
