Netcraft Reports Most Reliable Sites

April 23, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web analytics firm Netcraft (netcraft.com) announced last week that DataPipe (datapipe.net), NaviSite (navisite.com) and MyHosting.com (myhosting.com) were the Web hosting companies with the most reliable Web sites for March 2007. Hosting providers iWeb8 (iweb8.com) and New York Internet (nyi.net) round out the top five.

Netcraft says this marks the first time NaviSite and MyHosting.com made the top five, although each has been among the top 10 several times. DataPipe has had the most reliable site five times previously, while iWeb8 was the top performer in January, says Netcraft.

According to Netcraft, three of the 10 most reliable Web hosts run their Web sites on Windows, five on Linux and two on FreeBSD.

Netcraft also recently announced the results of its April 2007 survey, receiving responses from 113,658,468 sites, an increase of 3.2 million sites from last month's survey.
