NetBenefit Offers Red Hat Suite

January 7, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting provider NetBenefit (netbenefit.com) announced on Monday it is collaborating with Red Hat (redhat.com) to implement a managed hosting solution based upon Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Cluster Suite.

By implementing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, NetBenefit can design and deploy highly scalable Linux infrastructures that deliver failover protection for business critical applications and services, and load balancing for increased website availability.

The latest version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux offers redundancy for servers, storage, network and power systems, as well as reduces implementation costs in terms of licensing. NetBenefit can therefore offer its customers enterprise-level managed hosting services without the high costs normally associated with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

"Our experienced team of Linux professionals focus on understanding what a business needs to achieve to ensure that we implement the best possible technical solution," says Jonathan Robinson, COO of NetBenefit. "Our continued work with Red Hat further strengthens our high availability, business critical offering and endorses NetBenefit's position in the marketplace."

NetBenefit announced last month it is providing private members club The Hospital Club with the hosting platform for its new social networking website.
