Liquid Web Hosting Firm, Garners 693rd Placement, as US Fastest Growing Company


Lansing, Michigan - (The Hosting News) - August 27, 2008 - Web hosting company, Liquid Web, has been honored by INC. Magazine as the 693rd fastest growing company in the United States, for the second consecutive year.

Liquid Web was also ranked No. 19 on the Top 100 Computers and Electronics Companies list. This prestigious list has included notable names such as Microsoft, Intuit and Oracle. The list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy -- America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.

The INC. 5,000 list which ranks companies based on their revenue growth over a three year period. Liquid Web's revenue grew from $2.1 million in 2004, to $12.2 million in 2007, a growth rate of 491.6%. Liquid Web's growth has been fueled by strong customer demand for their trademarked Heroic Support and three wholly owned data center facilities.

Last year, the company opened a 32,000 square foot data center facility. DC2, is located in Lansing, Michigan and provided with Tier1 bandwidth from AT and T, MCI and Savvis Communications. According to the company, DC2 has been designed with complete redundancy enabling maximum reliability and up-time. DC2 will be home to nearly 8,000 web servers and will make Liquid Web one of the largest consumers of bandwidth in the greater Lansing area.

With the opening of DC2, Liquid Web continued to focus on quality Managed Hosting services for its Shared, Dedicated and Virtual Private Server (VPS) products. Liquid Web's Heroic Support team is staffed on site at both DC1 and DC2 24x7x365 facilitating response to any and all issues directly, mitigating the impact of issues at any layer; from software, to server hardware, to network layer.
