LINX Partners with Colo-X

March 21, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- The London Internet Exchange (linx.net) announced on Tuesday it has signed a new partnership agreement with The Colocation Exchange (colo-x.com), providing benefit to members looking for suitable colocation space in London or across the UK as a whole.

"The colocation industry is going through a period of significant change at present and we are confident our expert market knowledge and years of experience will be of great benefit to both existing and prospective LINX members for whom colocation services are a vital component, says Tim Anker, founder and Director of The Colocation Exchange. "Furthermore our independence of the providers we work with is a great fit with LINX's own neutrality and member owned status."

LINX currently undertakes a limited amount of colocation reseller work and this is set to continue. This will be expanded along with additional facilities from other colocation operators aimed more specifically at prospective LINX members. The LINX-Colo-X partnership mainly focuses on the colocation requirements of current and prospective LINX members.

John Souter and Tim Anker will both be appearing at the DataCentres Europe 2007 event at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London on March 22. Souter is chairing the session 'Is Peering a new growth driver?' while Anker will be presenting an analysis of current trends in European data centers.
